UPF 50+ Sun Protection Tops can be produced from polyester, nylon or stretch-blended fabric with a weight of 100–160 g/m².

The product can be configured for UPF 50+, but the final sun-protection rating must be based on the actual fabric and its corresponding test report.

Sun protection is affected by several factors, including fiber type, fabric density, color, stretch condition and garment coverage. For this reason, the same rating should not be applied automatically to every fabric or style.

Available coverage details include a hood, high collar, thumbholes and extended cuffs. A hood and high collar increase coverage around the head and neck. Thumbholes and longer cuffs extend the sleeve over part of the hand.

Quality inspection focuses on fabric appearance, stretch direction, ventilation sections, hood construction, thumbholes, sleeve length and finished measurements.

In-line checks are carried out during sewing, followed by full inspection of completed garments. Stretch seams are checked to confirm that they do not limit normal arm or upper-body movement.

After inspection, the products enter finishing, packing and shipment preparation. The product is suitable for outdoor brands, travel clothing, sun-protection collections and light sports ranges requiring customized fabric, color, fit and coverage details.
